Kimberly Shao MD

Co-Owner, Mohs Surgeon & Dermatologist

Dr. Kimberly Shao, MD, FAAD, is a double board-certified dermatologist and co-owner of Sora Dermatology. She serves as Mohs surgeon, lab director, and general/cosmetic dermatologist. Dr. Shao earned her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where she completed a Mohs surgery research year. After an internship in Denver, she trained for three years at the University of Connecticut in medical, pediatric, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She has advanced expertise in dermoscopy for skin cancer detection and in biologic therapies for psoriasis and eczema.
